Job Description / Responsibility
* Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC)is an independent Commission established under section 6 of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Act, 2001 (Amended in 2010). The Commission is responsible for development and regulation of Telecommunication sector in Bangladesh.
* The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunication invites application form citizens of Bangladesh for the position of a Commissioner of BTRC.
* The period of service shall be for 3 (three) years.
* Salary/ remuneration: As per government approved salary structure for the post and other approved fringe benefits.

The applicant shall have Engineering background.
Experience Requirements
* Minimum 15 year(s)
Additional Job Requirements
* At least 15 years of practical experience in the Telecommunication sector.
* A candidate will not be eligible to apply if he/ she is disqualified as per clause 10(2) of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Act, 2001.
* Age should preferably be between 55 (fifty-five) and 60 (sixty) years on 01 August 2012.
