Job Description / Responsibility
Supervise activities of Environment & Water Quality Management Cell of NGO Forum
Develop concept note and proposals in relation to environment, public health, climate change, disaster management and water, sanitation & hygiene issues
Maintain communication and liaison as regard environment and health issues with the private sectors, government, donors and other stakeholders in strengthening the network of NGO Forum
Provide technical support to manage disaster response related activities
Provide guidance to the development of water quality and Water Safety Plan (WSP) related modules and promotional materials

Educational Requirements
Masters in Public Health/Chemistry/ Environment/Disaster Management or MBBS with specialization on Epidemiology or relevant discipline. Higher educational attainment or PhD would be an added advantage
Experience Requirements
Minimum 10 year(s)
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Development Agencies, NGOs, Research Organization
Additional Job Requirements
Minimum 10 years working experience in environmental & disaster management, public health of which at least 5 years in the managerial position
Working experience and understanding of the issues relating to environment, water, sanitation & hygiene and public health in national and global context.
Should have publication of articles in different journals and research reports as the lead author.
Should have experience in research activities
Ability to prepare and make presentation of reports, documents and research activities
Ability to share research findings with different audiences including community people, development actors, government officials, donor agencies, researchers and academicians.
Salary Range
TK. 60000
