The ability to foresee web-based services that meet enterprise needs or solve business issues.
Management of ongoing and new developments for the website, intranet and website system
Using Microsoft.NET technologies, design, develop and implement database interfaces and support eBusiness development
Ensure secure data transfer between web and internal systems.
Monitor web server and site technical performance.
Train staff on new developments and applications, identifying time constraints, gathering key resources, conveying needs and requirements.
Produce monthly reports detailing current web usage and forthcoming developments to senior management in an understandable format
Collaborate with management, business units and IT department to determine the Web site’s purpose, functions, requirements and long-term strategy.
Work with IT department to ensure optimal page loads, uptime and integration with business functions as appropriate
Establish policies and procedures around content management.
Research emerging technologies and services that may enhance the Web experience and make recommendations to management
Job Nature :- Full-time
Educational Requirements :- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering/ Information Systems/Technology or related discipline.
Certification: MCP/CPW
Experience Requirements :- Minimum 5 year-s
Additional Job Requirements :- Minimum of 5 years of experience with IT project management and implementation is required.
Active experience in coding more than one popular web-based application framework.
Proven experience of leading a Web Development Team
Knowledge of HTML and Web programming (CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
Experience with Web analytical tools, including producing reports
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
Experience using Help Desk tracking software
Ability to rapidly understand strategic objectives and suggest robust technical solutions
Ability to complete assigned tasks properly and on time
Innovative thinking and problem solving skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong skills in the management of enterprise level websites
Should be familiar with more than one software methodology and should have contributed to more than one open source project.
Should be well-versed in handling XHTML, one or more JavaScript frameworks and AJAX.
Should have a deep understanding and knowledge about web standards and should know UNIX system administration and Web Server Configuration.
Should be familiar with Internet protocols and RFC Standards, Revision Control Systems and Database Management Systems, Internet marketing and search engine optimization.
Should have exposure to business theories, business process development, governance processes, management, budgeting and administrative operations.
Comprehensive knowledge of databases, in particular SQL Server or MySQL or Oracle.
Strong experience with development of web based applications using .Net Framework, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, XSLT.
Experience with Windows Server 2003/2008 installation, administration performance tuning.
Experience creating workflows using Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer or third party tools.
Strong T-SQL development skills and experience with DML, DDL, DTS and Integration services.
Experience in building Collaboration solutions using Microsoft SharePoint Server, Project Server, Form Server and OCS.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have a good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
