Job Description / Responsibility

    * Responsible to develop and manage large scale gateway operations and align infrastructure at the cargo complex. Lead and engage field operations staff to enhance user experience of the AFR product.
    * Specific Role context: Multitasking and Managing Customs/Terminal Operators/Airlines
    * Specific Role Challenges: Overcome infrastructure limitations at the airport.
    * Manage close to 24X7 operations and complex customs compliance
    * Customer / Stakeholder:
    * Airlines, Customs & Terminal Operators and resolution of issues
    * AFR , Export / Import Manager and Team for day to day operations
    * Problem Complexity / Process:
    * • Responsible for all field operations at the cargo complex
    * Will lead and deploy field operations staff to execute shipments as per requirements of Export / Import Managers
    * • Will monitor and be responsible for operations costs
    * • Should maintain liaison / PR with concerned Airport agencies and airline operations representatives.
    * BUP handling for Export Consolidations Overall Role Purpose: Responsible to develop and manage large scale gateway operations and align infrastructure at the cargo complex. Lead and engage field operations staff to enhance user experience of the AFR product.
    * Customer / Stakeholder:
    * Airlines, Customs & Terminal Operators and resolution of issues
    * AFR , Export / Import Manager and Team for day to day operations
    * Problem Complexity / Process:
    * Responsible for all field operations at the cargo complex
    * Will lead and deploy field operations staff to execute shipments as per requirements of Export / Import Managers
    * Import AMS handling and Resolution of Customs Penalties
    * Developmental initiatives and projects related to future gateway expansions.
    * People Management:
    * Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility and cost consciousness.
    * Develop a team spirit and multitasking capabilities within the team.
    * Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.
    * Conduct performance appraisal, including coaching
    * Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.
    * Availability of required skills with excellent understanding of business.
    * Optimum utilization of resources.
