Job Description / Responsibility
Fulfill the leadership role as Head of Planning. Supervise, motivate and provide sufficient coaching to subordinates to keep high level of competency especially on technical and technological aspects
Lead cross functional activities with Market Operations, Corporate Strategy and Business Partnering to complete yearly business planning
Interface with Axiata group technology to incorporate strategic initiatives
Lead cross functional activities with Technology management team to execute yearly plan
Plan and manage to build circuit switch, packet-switched, IN and IP core network capacity as per business requirements
Plan and manage the coverage and capacity requirement of radio network to ensure continuous improvement of network quality
Plan the transmission network to interconnect the network elements and manage the transmission capacity
Defines subscriber-centric (E2E) network QoS improvement requirements and carry out network and service-level optimization tasks
Plan and manage to build OSS and Office IT network capacity as per business requirements
Evaluate and recommend new technology's impacts and its applications for the deployment into the network. Propose the right timing for deployment of new technology into the network
Develop long term and short term plan synchronizing network architecture and topology. Identify key planning parameters for the network and set guidelines on the recommended values for the common dimensioning purposes
Analyze demand forecasts, their modeling and recommend its long term impacts on the shape of the future network and produce technical standards, frameworks or guidelines required for network development
Effectively participate in Regulatory study group, or others third parties initiated e.g. Ministry etc, on issues related to network

B. Sc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering / Computer Science Engineering/Science from reputed university.
Having MBA will be an added advantage

Minimum 12 year(s)
Additional Job Requirements
Minimum 12 years of experience in the relevant field where minimum 5 years in a senior management role
Efficient in budget planning and telecomunication development planning
Capacity to do the project feasibility study by reviewing business case and budget calculation to support the project cost
Must be able to lead a team of professionals for rolling out new cost saving initiatives as per standard development services and best practices
Expertise in 3G and IP network
Excellent skills in management, organization, planning with strong result orientation
