Sales & Marketing Manager – Mombasa

Role
Reporting to the Chief
Executive Officer, - Steel Division,the incumbent will be responsible
for developing and executing strategies to exploit business
opportunities in the Steel Industry.
Specific responsibilities and accountabilities
- Planning, implementing and coordinating of sales activities
- Undertake business analysis and scenario planning for new business opportunities
- Monitor and advise of significant developments in the competitive business climate, government and legislative activities that may impact the business
- Undertaking business development researches that include specifying marketing segments , monitoring competition activities and SWOT Analysis
- Develop strong partnership with distributors and key customers and initiate joint marketing opportunities
Requirements
The incumbent should possess the following minimum qualifications and competencies:
- A Business related degree with a bias in Marketing
- Ten (10) years relevant experience with an established track record of Sales ; preferably in the Steel Industry
- Experience of selling to Companies at Director level in the Upper and Middle Income Markets
- Knowledge of Gujarati/ Hindi would be an asset.
