Job Description / Responsibility
Assist in developing and maintaining various guidelines and policies for effective site management, considering labor standards, safety & security, health and sanitation standards and overall quality control and quality assurance systems.
Review and update (where necessary) the guideline for OHS project team formation and assist in effective implementation of the guideline for all new projects.
Responsible for labor payment of existing project sites and ensure transparency and proper documentation of all issues related to labors and labor payments in coordination with the site engineers and Finance department.
Develop a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for inventory and store management, site operation, labor management, payment and cash management, etc. in discussion with the senior management.
Develop the annual calendar for conducting site audits.
Conduct and report findings on periodic audits on inventory, site operation, labor standards, payment status and documentation to check compliance with the SOP and other policies and guidelines.
Visit project sites of OHS for random audits and site inspection
Ensure and monitor the time line of periodic audits against guidelines
Act as the point of contact (POC) for all HR related issues of OHS, including monitoring attendance and leave records, implementing HR policies, investigating disciplinary issues and incidents at sites, orientation of new staff and ensuring overall employee standards and satisfaction
Monitor and verify the usage of site petty cash and follow up with necessary actions in cases where discrepancies in policies and practices are detected
Verify and authorize expenses (in consultation with respective supervisors where necessary) such as conveyance, entertainment and mobile allowances
Work closely with the Audit (SAS) unit in HR to develop and implement the audit manuals for key work functions and required documentation in OHS and assist during the audit process and reporting
