Job Description / Responsibility
Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008
Windows Server Security best practices
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway
Microsoft Exchange server migration and maintenance.
Mail Server Administration (Exchange & Postfix-Linux)
Knowledge on virtualization technologies, Microsoft Hyper-V, Virtual Desktop and VMware Infrastructure.
Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft System Center (SCCM, SCOM, SCDPM, SCVMM, SCSM)
Installation and maintenance of SQL server with failover clustering.
SAN administration, Data Backup & Recovery Solution using ‘Symantec Backup Exec’ or so on.
Knowledge on VLAN Segmentation, WLAN, Mikrotik bandwidth monitoring, Cisco Switching& Routing.
Design and document SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for system administration activities using MS Visio.
Very strong knowledge on IIS 6, 7.0, & 7.5 and windows scripting (WSH, VBScript, & PowerShell).
General knowledge on PHP, ASP, ASP.NET, MySQL and MSSQL tuning.

Educational Requirements
Masters/ Graduation in IT/ CS/ CSE from any recognized university with good academic background.
Certification(s) in MCSE/ MCITP.
CCNA certification will get advantages.

Minimum 3 year(s)

Candidates not having sound knowledge on Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange Server need not apply.
Demonstrated ability to organize a project in logical, efficient steps (work breakdown structure).
Provide regular status updates on projects, including progress updates and identification of technical risks and issues associated with them
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
