3M is an innovative $30 billion global diversified technology company with operations in more than 60 countries and currently seeks to employ a Marketing Specialist who will have a strategic role with responsibilities focused on developing and managing 3M products/ businesses for maximum growth of the Kenyan subsidiary.
- Based in Nairobi, the person will be responsible for product/brand marketing management; driving excellence in all elements of the marketing mix: subsidiary strategy formulation, product, price, promotion, brand, market coverage and channel development.
- The person will also use the new product commercialisation management processes to drive improvement in impact and sustainability of new products; implement appropriate gate review attendance and participation in new product development process;
- Develop channel and
market coverage models including determination of appropriate
promotional tools and merchandising to best address key customer
segments;
Establishing consistent market share tracking and analysis; - Continually enhancing market/ customer insights through competitive analysis, developing relationships with industry opinion leaders, customer engagement as well as sales team engagement – qualitative and quantitative.
- Reporting to the General Manager, the candidate must have 3 - 5 years management experience in a marketing role with in an industrial environment. Must have tertiary qualifications in marketing or related field. A multinational experience and an MBA qualification will be an advantage. Sales Representative

Representative for our Consumer Office business group.
- The successful candidate will be from a FMCG back ground having experience in selling to large distributors and Key Accounts like super market chains.
- Should have hands on experience of leading events and promotional campaigns at super market outlets to increase sales.
- A good understanding of modern retail and FMCG trade is a must.
- An understanding of selling office products to large key accounts will be an added advantage.
- Reporting to the Sales Manager, the candidate must have 3 - 4 years sales experience as a sales representative in retail and commercial markets.
- Multinational experience is an advantage.
