Job Description / Responsibility
1. Project`s Financial Management
Develop framework for project expenses
Control of expenditure
Maintain independent project account for each project
2. Review Financial proposal, MOU submitted for participating donor agencies tender
Preparing annual financial planning & budget
Identify the mode of payments
Identify the reimbursable cost and other expenses
Find out the challenge/ limitations in financial point of view for project execution/implementation
3. Timely submission of invoice, contract variations and summary variations etc. to clients, donor agencies, Government of Bangladesh etc.
Prepare invoices as per the contract agreements
Keep record/obtain approval for reimbursable cost
Update clients and other stakeholders regarding necessary financial information
Communicate clients, donor agencies, GoBs regarding project advancement or variation etc.
Internal / Pre-payment audit of incoming invoices to verify “value for money” etc.
4. Communication with different clients like donor agencies, NBR, Banks, Government of Bangladesh etc. for financial issues.
Provide information/answers to queries regarding financial information
Prepare and provide documents for internal/external audit
Managing company AIT, VAT.
Communicate the client regarding bank statement, project expenditure etc
Maintain liaison with Banks for incoming invoices, company’s banking transaction, manage withholding taxes and others various matters necessary for the projects and general company affairs
Need to communicate with Corporate Income Tax Authorities regularly regarding different financial issues.
5. Time to time interaction with the project Implementation department, finance and admin and other departments to discuss any relevant issues.
Salary administration (both for employees and consultants)
Handle Employees, Consultants and Company related taxation.
Update the Managing Director time to time regarding all the finance and accounts related activities.
Overseeing the regular day to day accounts and financial tasks and guide the finance and accounts team
Ensure intra department coordination
Resolve conflict/unresolved issues
6. Submission of monthly & Quarterly report on budget variation, income statement, Trail Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit and loss analysis etc. to higher management.
7. Any other job assigned by management.

Educational Requirements
Must be MBA or Masters in Finance / Accounting from public or reputed private university.
CA (Intermediate) / ICMA will be given preference.
Experience Requirements
5 to 10 year(s)

• Proficiency in Computer application software i.e. MS Word, Excel and official own software.
• Good command over English and good interpersonal skill
• Self- driven personality, ability to work independently with the pace of time and under pressure.
