Our client is a regional bank with a strong focus and presence in Africa.
They are looking for an experienced Relationship Manager to manage and grow their Chinese Customer Portfolios.
That individual will also
be tasked with achieving business targets assigned in terms of cross
selling, enhancing and upgrading relationships, perform financial
planning and investment, Business Banking, Forex, Credit Cards, online
trading etc .
They will be a one point contact for all requirements of its Chinese national customers at the Branch
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Credit Risk Department on credit matters
- Portfolio Management
- Liability and asset generation
- Acquisition of profitable new customers for the banking business through the creation, development and maintenance of high quality advisory relationships that includes effective consultative selling and creative restructuring of financial solutions
- Manage business flows– mainly trade, cash (SGD clearing / payments), treasury, loans and capital markets; including working with the bank’s branches to originate new opportunities as well as internal product partners
- Product development in collaboration with appropriate product partners where there are opportunities to develop / introduce / sell new products to new customers
- Working with partners across bank divisions to streamline processes and procedures.
- Assist with trade documentation including Trade Co-operation Programs, Risk Participation Programs etc
- Collating of data and reports for product and relationship teams performance tracking.
- Provide support on Customer Due Diligence for establishment of correspondent relationships.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of commercial banking relationship management or Sales Specialist experience
- Knowledge of the Banking Industry and Financial Markets.
- Good Relationship Management and Service
- Good communication and presentation skills and fluent in Chinese
- A minimum of 5 years experience
- Must be able to speak and write Chinese Fluently
