RE: Supply of Software

Kenya Canners SACCO is in the process of procuring a modern software for the Society that will enable it serve its customers in a faster and more efficient manner. 
The Software should be capable of integrating both Front Office Service Activity (FOSA). Back Office Service Activity (BOSA) and comply with Sasra reporting requirements.

Proposals are therefore invited from prospective vendors to provide suitable Software Solutions to the Society. 
Interested bidders must at least meet the following requirements:
  • Have at least five years experience in SACCO software development
  • Have already existing software that is currently being utilized by at least 10 SACCOS.
  • Have the relevant technical experience to tailor the software to the SACCO requirements
  • The system must be able to integrate mobile banking, visa branded ATMs and Kenya Canners Branded ATMs.
  • Provide for tamper proof system audit.
  • Provision for Auto-sign-on Bridge on local ATMs (Kenya Canners) and visa branded ATMs.
  • Real time transactions
  • Database should include functions that are designed to ensure integrity and fault tolerance in a network environment.
  • Automatically prompt the teller whether a referral is required and route the referral to the right manager/supervisor online.
  • Detailed Portfolio analysis report.
  • Support dividend computation monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, maturity (end year 2 and compute share dividends automatically from the closing year/ prorate.
  • Ability to provide lending methodologies i.e. for individuals, group lending and partnership.
  • Automated asset register- accurate depreciation/appreciation report on assets.
  • Auto back-up should support scheduled backup.
  • Provide lock periods to prevent unauthorized changes.
  • Provide ability to authorize/ approve a transaction by more than 1-2 users at higher levels.
  • PIN number and Tax Compliant Certificate.
