Province. The Hospital is seeking for qualified Kenyan Citizens to fill
the following positions:-
Hospital Pathologist
The Hospital Pathologist will have overall responsibility of the Pathology Department.
He/she will be required to provide quality pathology services to outpatients and inpatients.
Requirements:
- M.Med in Pathology or equivalent
- At least 3 years experience as a Hospital Pathologist.
- Good knowledge of quality assurance procedures applicable to laboratory.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment of both clinical and non-clinical professionals.
Resident Medical Officers
Applicants should be Medical Practitioners registered with the Kenya Medical
Practitioners and Dentist Board with at least three years’ post registration experience, preferably in a busy Emergency/Outpatient Department.
Training in Basic and Advance Life Support will be an added advantage.
Obstetrics Departmental Manager
The successful candidate will be charged with the responsibility of Labour Ward, Ante/Post Natal Ward and Neonates Special Care Unit.
This position is on a two
year renewable contract and will offer an attractive remuneration to
the candidate who meets the following requirements:
- KRN/M,KRCHN
- Minimum 5years post registration nursing experience in Labour Ward, Ante/Post Natal and Neonates Special Care Unit.
- 2 years experience at a senior nursing management level with evidence of a record of achievement ad personal attributes to lead and motivate staff.
- Holder of a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) from a recognized institution will have an added advantage.
Operating Theatre Nurse
Applicants should posses the following:
- KRN/M,KRCHN
- 5 years post — registration nursing experience in Operating Theatre.
- Ability to plan and execute most of the procedures in the operating theatre.
- Holder of a Higher Diploma in Pen-operative Theatre Nursing from a recognized institution will have a definite advantage.
Anaesthetist Assistant
Applicants should the possess the following;
- Diploma in Theatre Technology.
- Be able to assist Anaesthetists from induction through reversal.
- Have knowledge in modern anaesthetic equipment and drugs used, infection control and aseptic techniques as applicable in operating rooms.
- More than 2 years experience as Anaesthetist’s Assistant in a busy operating theatre.
Theatre Technician/ Surgeon Assistant
Applicants should possess the following;
- Diploma in Theatre Technology.
- Be able to assist Surgeons in all surgeries with advanced knowledge in the modern technology in surgery.
- Well versed with human anatomy and physiology.
- Have knowledge and skills in aseptic technique and infection control.
- More than 2 years experience as a Theatre Technician/Surgeon Assistant in a busy operating theatre.
