ADRA Education Project Coordinator Job in Kenya


The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Somalia is an International Non-Governmental Organization registered in Kenya and operating in Somalia. 
ADRA’s mission is to change one life at a time through enhancing development in individuals and communities.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Education Project Coordinator.

Location: Galmudug and Mogadishu

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize project implementation processes.
  • Conceptualize, design and develop education projects and programs.
  • Ensure proper utilization of funds vis-à-vis approved project budget.
  • Ensure compliance to agency/donor financial regulations in the project.
  • Provide timely, quality and accurate project reports meeting donor guidelines.
  • Document and disseminate best practices on Education projects.
  • Develop, manage and administer of education projects at community level.
Qualifications/Experience:
  • Applicants must have Degree in Education Management with speciality in basic and secondary education.
  • At least five years in developing and implementing Education projects preferably in NGO setting.
  • A minimum of two years of project management experience in postconflict countries.
  • Should have experience working with civil society groups and government authorities.
  • Previous working experience with EC and DFID-funded projects will be an added advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of project management techniques (project planning, budgeting, progress reporting, monitoring and evaluation) is required.
  • Willingness to live in South Central Somalia.
