Job Description / Responsibility
Field Coordinator-SHIKHON (FC) will be responsible for overall coordination, implementation and management of the program activities for RDRS in the field level. FC is also responsible for developing an effective team at the field level to ensure adequate support to the field team in a coordinated way. S/he will be working as per the guidance of PC-SHIKHON. FC must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
The major responsibilities of Field Coordinator (SHIKHON) will be as follows:
In close collaboration with SHIKHON regional team, FC will play a lead role in developing Activity Plan and Detailed Implementation Plan/Gantt Chart for each year and update quarterly.
Ensure field level implementation plan as per Gantt chart an efficient manner.
Coordinate development of field team’s monthly work plan and annual training calendar.
Conduct monthly field coordination meeting at which program progress is reviewed and assessed by the field team with participation from technical leads as needed.
Attend coordination meetings at Regional level.
Maintain coordination with Field level stuffs and volunteer ensuring supportive field program implementation and reporting standards and overseeing the work at different level.
Ensuring that program activities are implemented according to established program principles with adequate community participation
Provide adequate direction and support to the field level stuffs to ensure better coordination at that level.
Monitor program components including training, workshop, and meetings at field.
Provide support in managing resources overseeing budgets.
Masters in any discipline
Minimum 5 year(s)

Age below or equal to 35 year(s)
At least 5 years of which at least 3 years in development program management (education preferred)
Job related knowledge: Knowledge of implementation of program management and coordination and the education situation inBangladeshincluding constraints and issues in the primary education is required.
Strong ability in problem solving and decision-making.
Planning and financial management skills
Team building, HR management skills
Excellence skills on dealing with beneficiaries and communities.
Supportive supervision and motivation skill.
Field level monitoring skill.
Skilled in documentation, facilitation, presentation & reporting.
Motorcycle driving skills and willing to drive motorcycle in the field with valid driving license.
Skills using commonly used software MS Word, MS Excel, Power point, internet and email communication
Excellent communications skills.
To work in a team and able to work under pressure.
