We are looking for a senior level PHP developer. In summary, the position requires active coding, team leading, solution architecting and overseas client communication. The candidate needs to have a proven track record of motivating, guiding and mentoring team members both technically and professionally. Technical requirements include advanced knowledge in: PHP, MySQL, Zend, Magento, WordPress, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML/CSS, OOP, design patterns, architectural patterns (MVC, SOA, etc), web hosting and maintenance, web application scalability, security and performance.
All our clients are non-local. Thus, the candidate must have a good control over English language. Communicating with our international clients through email, IM and teleconference will be one of the major job responsibilities; therefore, the candidate’s competence in speaking and writing English should be up to the par.
The candidate has to be delivery-oriented. The capacity to deliver a successful project on time is a key requirement. The candidate needs to ensure effective and consistent delivery of on-time, on-budget and excellent results with minimal post project defects.
This is a very technical position. If you are not very techie in nature and do not love to read tech materials, this position is not for you. We are looking for candidates who keep themselves up-to-date with the latest progresses in the tech world. Following one or two tech blogs is a must-have requirement. If you write tech blogs, it would be even better!
The candidate must think and act agile. Knowledge on development process models (SCRUM, Kanban) is a must.
If you don’t have 8+ years of experience in the software development industry (among them, 6+ years in advanced PHP development), you don’t need to apply.
