Job Description / Responsibility
To establish cordial, warm, close affectionate and faithful relationship with the children through individual and group counseling and motivation.
To make frequent street visits to contact the dropout and new children to ensure more attendance of those children in the Centre regularly. Help the children to understand the prevailing facilities that have been provided to them.
To rescue children who are in conflict with the law.
To collect unattended sick children from the street for better treatment.
Establish relations with community people, ensuring best support for the Street Children`s Programme.
To make children conscious about Children`s Right and protection, Social Rights, Socialization etc. Also make the children more conscious about reality and better way of preparing himself/herself for integration into the society.
To create an atmosphere that encourages behaviour and a real understanding of tolerance and equality between adults and children in all aspects of their lives.
To work for overall development of the children in matters of personal hygiene, their educational, attitudinal and behavioural development, recreation, food etc.
Assist and encourage children to attend in-house non-formal education classes or to different working children`s school. Help children in getting outside educational and skill training facilities.
Make frequent visit to the children`s working place, and ensure home visits as and when required.
To supervise children`s savings, food money, marketing as and when required. To keep record as directed by the Line Manager. To ensure first aid treatment to the children
To prepare himself/herself for undertaking full responsibility of a center in absence of the concerned Manager.
To do night duties at the centres (where applicable) on the basis of duty roster.
To keep Line Manager informed on all relevant matters.
To carry out other duties that may be reasonable requested by the Line Manager.

At least 2/3 years working experience
Fluent in Bangla, English and Computer literacy skills will be an advantage.
Experience of working with disadvantaged & traumatized children independently with skilled teams.
Experience of networking and mobilization of local communities, local government/elected representatives, service providers and institutions
Good leadership, analytical, and team building skills.
Ability to participate in capacity building. Disseminate training to other team members.
Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
