Job Description / Responsibility
* Gono Unnayan Prochesta (GUP), a national non-government organization invites applications from the potential Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Upazila Deputy Team Leader (DTL) for implementing an Integrated Food Security Program based at Hizla Upazila under Barisal district. The program is designed to reduce food insecurity and vulnerability of beneficiaries over a period of 5 yrs. The program comprises three strategic objectives: SO1 – Maternal Child Health and Nutrition; SO2 – Market-based Production and Income Generation; and SO3 – Disaster Risk Reduction and Emergency Preparedness.
* Upazila Deputy Team Leader (DTL) will be responsible for smoothly program implementation in the fields.Upazila Deputy Team Leader (DTL) will implement programmatic support required for all three strategic objectives of the program. The DTL at the UZ level should have excellent leadership skill and capacity to lead and coordinate a Technical Team of 2-5 members who are responsible for providing technical support to attain specific objectives of the program. S/he will coordinate with the relevant staff for identification of the technical needs of the program and accordingly, guide the respective team to extend their technical and programmatic support.

* Minimum 5 - 7 years in NGO field. Experience of working in the coastal area will be treated as a beyond excellence for all above mentioned positions.
* Having at least 5 years experiences in the areas of Mother and Child Health Nutrition, Livelihood and Disaster Risk Reduction Management program implementation.
* Should have adequate skills for developing good understanding capacity in the fields.
* Experiences of working in the coastal belt of Bangladesh are preferred.
* Appropriate computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential for this position.
* Able to drive motorcycle having valid driving license.
Salary Range
* TK.33000 - 35000
