Job Description / Responsibility
This is a senior appointment suitable for someone with a dynamic, self-motivated, “Can-Do” personality which positioned is based inDhaka,Bangladesh. The position will be expected to provide overall leadership in providing services to the information and communication technology needs of WV Bangladesh.
The designated person will be responsible for-
Assess, plan, monitor and evaluate the Information Technology services in order to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals of WV Bangladesh;
Manage the IT team to effectively deliver the appropriate services to NO and Project offices;
Develop and maintain the information database of WV Bangladesh to properly document the accumulated knowledge, experiences and learning’s of the organization.
This Position will be accountable for-
WVB Information and Communication Technology strategies and deployment plans, etc;
I T department annual plan of action and budget;
I T Department staff properly managed.
I T policies and procedures
Computer hardware & software, tools and systems innovation
Management of Information Technology practices meet WV’s minimum IT standards and procedures;
Purchase, Set up and maintenance of computer hardware and software;
Develop good working relationships with all stakeholders;
Being a child-focused Organization, World Vision has the responsibility to ensure safety & protection of the children while they come in contact with the staff; accordingly all the recruits will go through specific checks and compliance procedures in accordance to its Child Protection Policy.

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information or Business Admin Management and M.Sc is preferred.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 10 year(s)
Additional Job Requirements
ITIL & Microsoft SQL or MCSE (Microsoft Certified system engineer)/ CLT (Lotus Domino/ CCNP
Knowledge in WV partnership application such as Lotus Notes, data imaging, SQL, Virus scanners etc..
Basic Internet Firewall implementation & maintenance
Effective Communication skills
Demonstrated collaboration & team building skills
Strong leadership & management skills
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
At least 10 years’ experience in IT operations management, managing people and teams along with experience in Non-profit organization will be preferred.
Cross cultural experience in a multicultural environment Esp. in an INGO context will be preferable.
Has ability to accept challenges and cope with changes
