Reporting to the Director, Marketing and Corporate Affairs, the Jobholder will be charged with the responsibility of collecting and analyzing market information, sales data and general market trends which will assist the management to come up with appropriate and effective marketing strategies for the company.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, Marketing and Corporate Affairs, the Jobholder will be charged with the responsibility of collecting and analyzing market information, sales data and general market trends which will assist the management to come up with appropriate and effective marketing strategies for the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze data and prepare reports on customer demographics, preferences, needs and buying habits
- Identify potential markets and factors affecting the performance of the products
- Measure and assess customer and employee satisfaction
- Forecast, track sales, marketing trends, analyzing collected data and make recommendations for implementation
- Seek and provide information to help determine positioning in the market place
- Conduct research on consumer opinions and market strategies and measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, PR, communication programmes and strategies
- Provide management with information and proposals concerning the promotion, distribution, design, and prices of products
- Gather data on competitors and monitor statistics and trends in the industry.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience
- Business related degree with specialization in Marketing
- At least 4 years of relevant working experience
- Analytical and innovative mind and market research skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills
- Computer Literacy in Ms Office Suite of packages.
