Job Description / Responsibility
Project Manger will take over the operational responsibilities of the Project, which will be implemented in partnership with Strengthening Democratic Local Governance – SDLG Program (a USAID project implemented by Tetra Tech ARD) for a period of 15 Months from October 2012 to December 2013. The position will:
Prepare annual work plan and budget (AWP&B) for their respective organizations including training calendar of LGUs in the district/cluster in which they will be operating.
Participate and facilitating in different training, workshop and meeting at the divisional and national level per project plan.
Supervise and monitoring the activities of the NGO’s staff including Finance and Administrative Officer (F&AO), Program Officers etc.
Maintain liaison and sharing the information with LGUs, LG Associations (MAB, BUPF etc) and other partners of SDLG project working in same cluster
Report the achievement and results per activities and components on quarterly basis
Coordinate with Local government officials in implementing the activities of Bangladesh SDLG- Project
Maintain working relation with Regional Office of SDLG located in the concerned region.

Educational Requirements
Masters Degree preferably in Social Sciences/ Development Studies.

Additional Job Requirements
At least 8 years of working experience of democracy and local governance project/s particularly in the area of women empowerment.
Proven experience on overall program design, implementation including staff development and financial management, conducting training/workshop/seminars at different levels.
Proven ability to produce results within tight deadlines and under pressure situations.
Good Report writing and Documentation skills in English and Bangla.
Good organizing ability.
Proficiency in MS Word , MS Excel and Power Point
Ability and Willingness to work under pressure.
Good ability of working as team member and independently
Good oral and written communication skill both in English and Bangla.
Salary Range
TK. 24000
