Job Title: Executive Chef

Job Description:
Duties include:
Training and managing all kitchen staff.
Ensuring that all food items are prepared as per standard recipe cards whilst maintaining portion control and minimizing wastage.
Maintain consistency of first class food quality in all areas of food production and implement quality control procedures.
Liaise with the Catering Manager, Banquet Manager and members of the Sales Department on all special Banquet menu requirements, to ensure that they can be produced to a high standard and that both food and labor costs are minimized.
Ensure compliance with legislated heath and safety requirements within the workplace, paying particular attention to Food Safety
Legislation.
Be creative in the design and implementation of ongoing food concepts and plan and execute well constructed Food and Beverage promotion on a scheduled basis.
Educational Qualification:
Graduation in the related field.
Work Experience:
At least 15 years of experience in five star hotels.
Job Requirement:
Highly developed management skills, leadership skills and strong technical skills.
Sound knowledge food & beverage production and quality management.
Excellent communication skills are required.
