JOB DESCRIPTION:
As an active member of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) production support team, ensures that the client achieves maximum benefits from ERP related applications. The ERP team plays the business-critical role of designing, deploying, and leading business services across client locations. The ERP Business Analyst supports the delivery of ERP systems and solutions. The position provides expert functional and analytical support for the PeopleSoft platform. The candidate will participate in the evaluation, planning, environment building, third-party integration, application administration, testing, implementation and production support for ERP solutions. You will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with many opportunities to bring value and success to the organization.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Bachelor’s degree in a business / allied health profession required
· 5+ years of Functional experience PeopleSoft version 8.9 or higher
· 5+ years of experience in PeopleSoft HCM suite in Core HR, Benefits Administration, Self-Service, North America Payroll, Payroll integration to PeopleSoft General Ledger, Commitment Accounting
· Experience and Knowledge of Integration points to and from PeopleSoft HCM system
· Experience accessing, querying, analyzing large, complex sets of business transaction and process data. Advanced proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL, Access, Excel, PS query or similar
· Demonstrated experience developing and executing test cases and scripts to evaluate system changes. Experience utilizing automated testing tools a plus
· Must have experience with the application implementation life cycle, including: requirement analysis, fit/gap analysis, application configuration, functional / technical specifications, integration, product enhancement and support
· Experience in documenting as-is and to-be process flows, eliciting and documenting system change requirements, identifying and evaluating alternative solutions, and writing business cases
· Demonstrated experience fully contributing to project teams, and maintaining effective cross-functional working relationships. Demonstrated experience providing user training, and in interpreting and communicating complex systems issues to non-technical staff
· Hands-on experience supporting functional users by analyzing and troubleshooting system problems, and employing both a methodical approach, knowledge of financial and SCM system processes, and system and data analysis tools
· Work on cross functional projects with groups such as HR, Payroll, Benefits, Research and Recruiting teams and provide application expertise and best practice recommendations
· Understands annual HR business cycles and is able to guide implementation of rate changes, tax updates, paycodes, new departments, and other common setups
· Knowledge of project management practices, principles, techniques and tools
