JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an active member of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) production support team, ensures that the client achieves maximum benefits from ERP related applications.  The ERP team plays the business-critical role of designing, deploying, and leading business services across client locations.  The ERP Developer functions as a key technical resource supporting the PeopleSoft FSCM and HCM platform.  This position is responsible for designing, developing, testing and implementing sound technical solutions based on functional requirements.  The qualified candidate performs duties in a manner consistent with a complex, diverse, dynamic hardware and software environment that serves a complex medical and education community.  You will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with many opportunities to bring value and success to the organization.



EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Management or equivalent experience

·         2 years of experience in a business, educational, or clinical IS environment in the design, analysis, programming, testing, and implementation of software applications

·         5+ years demonstrated progressive technical experience in using PeopleSoft Applications version 8.9 or higher

·         5+ years of experience supporting several of the PeopleSoft FSCM modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Billing, AR, Contracts, Grants, Project Costing, Asset Management, Inventory, eProcurement

·         Experience supporting Month End and Year End Close activities

·         Must have experience with the application implementation life cycle, including: requirement analysis, fit/gap analysis, application configuration, functional / technical specifications, integration, product enhancement and support

·         Demonstrated experience fully contributing to project teams, and maintaining effective cross-functional working relationships

·         Must be familiar with general financial audit guidelines - basic understanding of SOX and SAS70 is required

·         A strong focus on attention to detail and adherence to development standards/business procedures are essential

·         High level of initiative and problem solving skills

·         Candidate must be a self-starter with ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment

·         Has demonstrated creativity in assignments and leadership in technical field of specialization

·         Must have strong research and analytical skills to be able provide technological support to users and functional team members

·         Must have

o   Integration Tools Application Engine, Component Interface, Business Interlinks, File Layout, Application Messaging

o   Reporting Tools PS Query, Crystal Reports, SQR, PS/N-Vision.

o   Administration Tools Data Mover, Update Assistant, Security Administrator, Configuration Manager

o   Languages PeopleCode, SQR, SQL, C, C++, Java, VB, VB & Java Script, ASP.
