We are looking for an ambitious, self‐driven candidate to fill the following vacancy:
Assistant Manager – Kampala
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure quotations are given to both prospective and current clients timely manner
  • Ensure tenders are prepared in best manner possible with all requirements adhered to and delivery of the same is done in a timely fashion
  • Work towards enhancing both business growth and maximum client retention to ensure departmental targets are achieved
  • Carry out market research and competitor analysis.
  • Cross market and raise the profile of the other products and services.
  • Generate leads for pursuits by the departments marketing team
  • Identify new markets and make contact with potential customers;
  • Ensure the departments maintains high service standards in both claims processing and underwriting
  • Review all claims reported and ensure the Claims Supervisor prepares claims registers in time for review by the client in line with signed SLAs
  • Assist in delivering presentations to current and prospective clients and represent the firm in marketing and business partnership forums
  • Ensure high customer service standards
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree with an Insurance option
  • ACII Qualification(minimum 5 units)
  • Excellent knowledge of general insurance
  • 3 years relevant experience at a senior position in a similar organization
Competencies/ Personal Attributes:
  • Demonstrate excellent understanding of insurance industry
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills
